The Elgin High School varsity volleyball team played two of its best 5A-District 23 matches of the 2023 season this past week despite them resulting in losses Oct. 17 at Bastrop High School and at home Oct. 20 against Pflugerville High School for senior night.In Bastrop last Tuesday, the Lady Wildcats lost in three straight sets, 17-25, a back-andforth second set 24-26 and 14-25.
