Elgin volleyball (2-12) ended a tough season by dropping three sets straight to the Bastrop Lady Bears on Tuesday, November 10 and then having to travel to district leader Pflugerville Hendrickson on Friday, November 13.
The Lady Bears, fighting for the last playoff spot in district play, easily took care of business against Elgin. They scored a 25-16, 25-17 and 25-14 straight set victory.
Hendrickson (16-3), who were a spotless 12-0 in district play, also handled their business against Elgin, winning an easy 25-13, 25-17 and 25-11 match.
