BASTROP – The grind to the postseason continued this past week for the Bastrop High School varsity volleyball team as the Lady Bears hosted Pflugerville Connally High School on Sept. 19 and traveled to Elgin High School on Sept. 22 for a pair of District 23-5A matches.Despite the Lady Bears dropping the first set to the Connally Lady Cougars 16-25, Bastrop went on a roll and fought hard to win the next three sets 25-23, 25-21 and 25-22 to seal the deal.
