The magical world of ‘Oz’ entertains Elgin

​Elgin High School’s theatre program performed L. Frank Baum’s famous The Wizard of Oz musical over the weekend.​The stretch of four shows, dating from Nov. 18 to Nov. 20, featured over 50 high school students along with 80 kids from Elgin’s intermediate and elementary schools. ​EHS choirmaster Cherisa Cromer directed the musical and has been doing so for years.
