​On Nov. 10, Elgin High School senior Elaine Cloud, and her father Dustin Cloud, joined forces for an art exhibition showcase at the Clever Tiger. ​The event was a part of downtown Elgin’s monthly Sip, Shop and Stroll festivities.​Dozens of different pieces, revealing a wide variety of styles, were on display. Dustin Cloud said he started making art relatively late in life, whereas Elaine Cloud has been a passionate artist since she was a child. ​Dustin’s specialty is taking pre-existing artwork and adding his own creative elements to it, giving new meaning to previous compositions. Elaine, meanwhile, seems to run the gamut.
