It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our loving mother. Dottie Peterson Nitkin left us peacefully in her sleep surrounded by family. Dottie Nitkin, 83, of Elgin died Sunday, June 2, 2019. Dottie was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 8, 1936. She was raised in the Grayling and Bay City areas of Michigan, but spent most of her life in Austin and Elgin.
