Kenneth Darrell Beauchamp

Kenneth Darrell Beau-champ, 67, passed away peacefully in his sleep Sunday morning, June 9, 2019. Kenneth was born in Taylor, Texas to James and Lorene Beau-champ on July 29, 1951. Kenneth had many roles in his life: Fire Fighter, Ceramic Tile Contractor, Table Tennis Coach, Farmer, and friend to just about anyone he ever met. He will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, a supportive and compassionate Father, and the world’s greatest PawPaw. He made friends wherever he went and always had a story to share.

Kenneth had a passion and a talent for bringing people together. As both a coach and a player Kenneth helped the Austin Table Tennis community grow, mature, and prosper. Kenneth was also active online, playing games such as Guild Wars, MechWarrior, and Command and Conquer with his children, grandchildren, and numerous online friends.

Kenneth was preceded in death by both his parents, James and Lorene Beauchamp; his son, Kenneth James Beau-champ; and his loving dog, Herbert. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Jennifer Beauchamp; his son, Tom Beauchamp and his wife Candy; his daughter, Jeannie and her husband Shaun Conner; his seven grandchildren, Rozie, Jamie, Cassie, Jack, Oliver, Everett, and Kennedy; his brother, Jimmy Beauchamp and his wife Sheri; his sister, Terri Sue and her husband Ray Edwards; and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Family and friends will gather at the Knobbs Springs Baptist Church on Wednesday, June 19th from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM and will Celebrate Kenneth’s Life at 11:00 AM with the Reverend David Atwood presiding. Following services, repast will be served at the Knobbs Springs Baptist Church. Interment will be conducted privately at Adina Cemetery.
