TEMPLE – The Smithville High School varsity cross country program had itself a meet to remember on Thursday, Sept. 21 as the Lady Tigers and Tigers each competed at the Lake Belton Bronco Invitational held at Crossroads Park in Temple.Against tough competition, the Lady Tigers placed first as a team with 55 points amongst 12 schools in 1A-4A who entered at least five runners in the girls’ two-mile run.
