SMITHVILLE — The Smithville High School varsity softball team picked up another 4A-District 22 victory at home April 1 as the Lady Tigers run-ruled Giddings High School 12-2.Behind a seven-run outburst in the bottom of the third inning, the Lady Tigers coasted against the Lady Buffaloes in a must-win game.Smithville had a balanced offensive attack as Raini Stanley, Jessi Davis and Kayden Wilde each drove in two runs on the night.
