BASTROP – The Bastrop High School varsity volleyball team was in action on Aug. 29 as the Lady Bears had their final non-district home match against Lockhart High School. The Lady Bears kept it close but the Lady Lions ultimately pulled away in each set as Bastrop fell 18-25, 20-25 and 18-25 in three straight sets.Bastrop continues to get great production out of junior Laicey Sullivent, who led the way on the night for the Lady Bears with a team-high eight kills.
