Elgin Independent School District hosted its first slate of youth athletic camps to start the summer this past week as Wildcats baseball and Lady Wildcats softball was in action from May 31-June 1 on their respective fields.Under baseball head coach Jason Bourgeois and softball head coach Pete Moreno, the young Wildcats and Lady Wildcats campers got to work with the coaching staff and a handful of players from the varsity teams for three days.Campers worked on hitting techniques, fielding drills, baserunning, and more with different stations for kids in first through ninth grade as the future of Elgin athletics was ...
