Rick Socia, 64, of Elgin passed away on September 12, 2021 at home in Elgin.
Rick was born on May 22, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan. He married Lorraine in San Diego, California on September 12, 1977. He was a proud Navy veteran, an IT solutions architect and a volunteer with the Bastrop County Sheriff's Office.
He is survived by wife Lorraine Socia and children Mariah Norbeck of Poway, California; Bethany Hester of Santa Maria, California; Jesse Socia of Ramona, California; Kira Socia of Woodburn, Oregon; Quentin Socia of Santee, California; and Wesley Socia of Santee, California. He had 11 grandchildren.
Services will include cremation.
