Betty Lee Dildy, age 94 of Elgin, died on August 11, 2020. She was born on January 20, 1926 in Fort Towson, Oklahoma. In 1930 her parents, Dale and Lila Cecil Willson, moved the family from Tecumseh, Oklahoma to Elgin to operate the El-Tex Theatre. Betty Lee had many fond memories growing up in Elgin. She graduated from Elgin High School and completed a B.A. in sociology from The University of Texas at Austin. In 1948 she married Harold Dildy and they raised four children (Lee, Dale, Diane, Jo Ellen). Betty Lee supported Harold’s entrepreneurial spirit and many business ventures,
