SMITHVILLE — Two counties are teaming up to allow residents to get rid of items that shouldn't be kept around the house for too long.The Bastrop and Lee County Clean-Up will be April 15 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Bastrop County Household Hazardous Waste & Reuse Facility, 109 Taylor St. in Smithville. The event is open to all residents of Bastrop County, including Bastrop and Smithville.Vouchers are required for collection events such as this one. Addresses must be verified with a utility bill or drivers license. Vouchers available at the Bastrop County Development Services office, 211 Jackson St.
