BASTROP — Bastrop County Sheriff’s Office deputies exchanged fire with Seth Thomas Robertson, 61, late night Dec. 23, injuring the resident. Two units were dispatched to the location off of FM-969 around 10 p.m., west of the city, responding to a reported shot fired inside the residence, according to the department.  The female occupant who made the call proceeded to relocate to a nearby neighbor’s house, where deputies arrived shortly after. On arrival, they were shot upon multiple times by Robertson and returned fire, not knowing if the suspect was struck in the dark, according to the department. Additional deputies arrived and approached the ...
