The City of Bastrop is pleased to announce the hiring of Rebecca “Becca” Sexton as the new library director. Sexton has the experience, knowledge, and passion to successfully lead the Bastrop Public Library in serving our community. “We have been waiting for just the right candidate to ensure that our Library remains relevant in the 21st century, and we believe that Becca Sexton fills those shoes,” said city manager Lynda Humble.
