On Saturday, February 12, the Bastrop High School Navy Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (NJROTC) held its annual military ball. In order to prepare for their event, the NJROTC held its Annual Military Inspection (AMI) on January 25, starting with an inspection of all the cadets by active duty military recruiters followed by a platoon drill competition (won by second platoon) and a drill exhibition by the unarmed and armed drill teams and culminated with an NJROTC company pass in review.After the drill portion of the AMI was complete, 11 cadets that are part of the NJROTC cadet leadership team ...
