BASTROP – An inmate carrying out his sentence in Bastrop County died last week while under the watch of facility staff, just one day after his arrival, Department of Justice reports said. Pelesasa Feiloaiga, 29, was found unresponsive at Federal Correctional Institution Bastrop July 18, at about 6:30 a.m., according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
