Elginites FEATURED in sold-out play

Judah and LaNette Lathem greet the crowd after their May 19 performances as George and Mrs. Tottendale in Bastrop Opera House’s rendition of “The Drowsy Chaperone.” Along with fellow Elgin residents Tom Bristoll, who played Feldzieg, and Lucretia Lomax Alvarez, choreographer, the duo took the stage for three nights in front of a full crowd. The Opera House will be celebrating its 135th anniversary this year, nationally recognized as a top performance arts center.
