Last Tuesday was a weird start to the week week for the Elgin Lady Cats. The sun was out, yet it was raining; the lights went out before the game started; and “Merry Little Christmas” was played during warm-ups while in Weiss’ stadium. During the first two sets, the Wildcats kept the score close in the beginning, but ultimately would lose hold and fall short.
