Head Coach Heath Clawson talks to the Wildcat team after the game.

The Wildcats' homecoming was spoiled by the visiting Bryan Rudder Rangers last Friday, September 10 as they fell in a 51-0 defeat.

The Wildcats tallied just 109 yards of total offense compared to the Rangers’ 427 yards. The ground game for Elgin accounted for just 17 yards on the ground, with the air attack barely topping the century mark.

Elgin finished the night 2-11 on third-down conversions and turned the ball over six times via four fumbles and two interceptions. Elgin did manage to take the ball away from the Rangers three times with a fumble recovery and two interceptions.

This week, the Wildcats are back at home as they host the East View Patriots.
