The Bastrop High School football team will begin a new era in 2022 with first-year head coach, Jake Griedl, taking over as the program’s leader.Griedl’s experience and championship pedigree, along with a Bears team that is by no means short on talent, gives reason for optimism and excitement as the season approaches.Griedl’s last coaching stint was as the head coach of Marshall High School where he accumulated 20 wins over the course of three years.
