Last week, the Elgin High School girls’ varsity soccer team faced the first place Lady Hippos of Hutto with a record of 3-0 and the fourth place Lady Patriots of East View (2-2).
On Tuesday, February 11, the Lady Cats defense looked solid in the first half. They did their jobs and kept Hutto from scoring, but, in the second half, they were caught out when trying to advance forward. Hutto was able to capitalize on the mistakes and scored several goals.
