College Station ends Lady Cats’ season

After trekking around Central Texas trying to avoid lightning and storms, the Elgin Lady Cats were finally able to play Game 2 late Thursday night against the College Station Lady Cougars. Bad weather was an enormous factor in this series, forcing a Game 1 on Wednesday to be moved from Brenham to Madisonville. Elgin traveled to Georgetown for a 7 p.m. Game 2 against the Lady Cougars, knowing they had to win to extend the series after their loss in Game 1.
