District competition began last week, and Bastrop’s girls and boys soccer teams didn’t have the start they were aiming for. Between the two teams, Bears soccer went 0-3-1 last week, facing off against the Pflugerville Panthers and Hendrickson Hawks. Despite the results, both teams, especially the boys, showed in pre-district play that they have the talent to compete with anyone.
