On the afternoon of May 4, Bastrop High School hosted a signing day ceremony for six Bear and Lady Bear student-athletes who will be taking their careers to the collegiate level this fall.Among the recent signees was Bastrop defensive back Caden Allen, who was a key reason for the Bears’ late-season resurgence and eventual 2021 state playoff appearance.
