Volunteers give Elgin Depot Museum a facelift

The Elgin Depot Museum on Depot Square (train depot on tracks) has just received a spiffy new facelift thanks to the incredible generosity of the Main Street Board Design Team, Melissa Ladd and our city’s Community Development leader Amy Miller. Also, the team from Down Home Ranch deserve a loud shout-out for donating and installing beautiful plants in the old wood barrels that were looking pretty pitiful. The bright paint on barrels and benches with the plantings is greatly appreciated. The museum is quite attractive inside and we appreciate the assistance.
