Dear Elgin Courier: It’s hard to believe it’s the last week of school for Elgin Independent School District. As I reflect on the school year, it occurs to me what a great year it’s been. We count on our schools to keep our children safe, to teach them reading, writing and arithmetic, and to enrich their lives.The Neidig Elementary School family is doing this and so much more every day.
