The results are in, and I am very pleased with the outcome.Two of the three bond propositions passed!Proposition A (which we call our "growth" proposition) passed by a large margin. This proposition will add two new elementary schools, expand our high school (to include additions to CTE and a Fine Arts Center), add a second transportation facility, buy/bank land for future schools/growth, and address priority maintenance needs at every campus and district facility.Proposition C (the multi-purpose, indoor extracurricular/recreational facility) passed... by 25 votes (with a cumulative total of 2,259 votes cast in Bastrop, Travis, and Lee Counties). This is a perfect example of why every vote matters.
