Jimmy Bryan Beauchamp, age 70, of Elgin passed away peacefully Friday, Dec. 8, 2023. He was born Oct. 24, 1953, in Austin, and was the second son of James and Lorene Beauchamp.

Jimmy accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at age 16, and was baptized at Crestview Baptist Church in Austin.

Jimmy graduated from Lanier High School in 1972, and went on to own a successful business as a tile contractor. Jimmy was a hard worker and valued integrity, instilling these values in his children and employees.

Jimmy was a devoted husband and father, and cherished time with his family. He loved the outdoors, hunting, gardening and was an avid cattle rancher.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kenneth; brother-in-law, Ray; nephew, Ken; and grandson Kyler.

He is survived by his wife, Sheri of 33 years; sister, Terri Edwards; children, Christy Mik u lencak ( Br ian), Tracy Noe (Shawn), Scott Beauchamp (Laura), Robert Socia (Melissa) and Lezlie Wright (Tommy); and 13 grandchildren, Kasie Hoyland, Kaden, Kylie, Kinsey, Keller and Kane Noe, Emma, Ellie and Taitlyn Beauchamp, Robert Socia, Liam, Bodhi and Lily June Wright and many close friends.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, at Providence-Jones Funeral Home in Elgin. A celebration of life will be held Friday, Dec. 15, at 11 a.m. at Knobbs Springs Baptist Church.

Internment with be at Adina Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Austin’s Christopher House.
