BASTROP — Three young students’ efforts at a popular community event didn’t go unnoticed.On Feb. 3, members of the Bastrop Area Cruisers visited Bastrop High School to recognize the Clayton Sherman, Kevin Hoefer and Laina McDonald for work during the 2022 Heroes and Hotrods Veterans Day Car Show. The students were presented with a plaque to recognize their involvement with the event and for helping to make the car show possible.The annual event honors American veterans with a classic car display and ceremony in downtown Bastrop.
