A recent filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality shows that rocket company SpaceX seems to have plans in Bastrop County.The Austin Business Journal reported on Tuesday that Elon Musk’s SpaceX filed a water quality construction permit for a property at 816 FM 1209 near a tributary to the Colorado River. The permit was submitted and approved on June 6.The Boring Company, a tunnel construction company also owned by Elon Musk, also has property at 130 Walker Watson Road just off of FM 1209.
