On Tuesday, May 14, Austin Community College (ACC) honored a record number of high school seniors graduating with college credentials in the area during its annual President’s Reception.
Elgin High School also had a record number of Early College High School (ECHS) graduates this year; these students earned college credit up to an associate degree through ACC.
“ACC’s dual credit and Early College High School programs give students, particularly those underrepresented in higher education, an accelerated path to college,” said Sydney Pruitt from ACC’s Office of Communications and Marketing. “ECHS students bring an exciting energy to the ACC campuses.”
