In the midst of widespread water outages and boil water notices due to last week’s unusual and devastating winter weather, Bastrop County has been distributing both drinking water and non-potable water since Saturday. On Saturday, Bastrop County Precinct 4 Commissioner Donna Snowden, Molly Alexander from The Owl and David Glass from Elgin General Store worked together to provide a water fill-up station.
