Dozens of cars lined up outside of the Bastrop County Household Hazardous Waste Facility (BCHHWF), some before the facility even opened, to drop off their unwanted tires and electronics on the morning of February 1. The BCHHWF is a regional collection facility in Smithville that provides a place for residents of Bastrop and Lee counties to drop off their household hazardous waste, mostly for free.
