A six-year-old boy who was struck by an 18-wheeler last week after exiting a school bus is home again after an overnight hospital stay. Around 4:15 p.m. last Tuesday afternoon, an Elgin ISD school bus was stopped in the outside lane of the westbound on U.S. Highway 290, Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) spokesperson Sergeant Dane Baker said on Tuesday evening.
