The Evangelical Free Church Cemeteries Association held its annual meeting on Sunday, August 11th at the Elgin Evangelical Free Church. This association supports the maintenance of two rural historic Evangelical Free Church cemeteries at Kimbro and Decker. Both of the cemeteries date to the 1890s, and many pioneers from those communities are buried there. Financial reports were given and officers were elected for the coming year. Memorials were received during the year for Milton and Laura Bartley, Juanita Christensen, Joe Champagne and Mavis Harrell. A challenge grant to raise the endowment by $10,000 was announced.
