The streets of downtown Bastrop were filled with liveliness last week as the town celebrated their 75th Annual Homecoming & Rodeo. This spirited four-day festival was highlighted by Saturday’s grand parade, competitive events like washer, horseshoe and Texas hold ‘em tournaments, a cake auction, rodeo, mutton bustlin’, and live music by Wyatt Ellis Band, Deezie Brown, Jeff Haney and Barney Sledge. Sponsors included Frontier Bank, Zane & Jane’s Custom Gates, Bastrop Beer Company, and more.
