Smithville’s homecoming week ends with a bang

Smithville High School’s homecoming week reached its climax on Friday when the king and queen were announced.​Kylie Grubb was crowned as the homecoming queen, and Tyson Hancock was declared king. ​Grubb is a member of the National Honor Society, which recognizes academic excellence and community service. Grubb is passionate about spending time with her friends and family and she plans on attending Tarleton State University after high school to study nursing.​Hancock serves as president for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, a non-profit that unites young athletes through faith-based activities.
