New auto repair shop opens in Elgin

Friendly’s Auto Repair, located at 1130 Dildy Drive in the Elgin Business Park, celebrated their grand opening and open house on Monday, March 9 with a ribbon-cutting by the Elgin Chamber of Commerce. Chamber members look on as Krystal Strack cuts the ribbon, along with her husband Eddie, Mike Strack and his wife Penny. Center left is Curt Christenson, mechanic.
