Toni Garcia's third grade class at Neidig Elementary School learned the importance of giving during the holidays by collecting canned food for the local food bank and coins for Ronald McDonald House Charities. Their final count is 42 cans and $53.10. The students have also been doing random acts of kindness, such as making cards for others and hiding sticky notes with positive messages for other people to find.
