Local students graduate from state citizenship program

The Henry A. Lundgren American Legion Post 295 and Auxiliary are proud to announce the 2019 graduates of Boys State and Bluebonnet Girls State. This year’s American Legion Boys State delegates are Blaine Henze, Cedric Truitt, Jr. and Cade Edwards. The delegates for the American Legion Auxiliary Girls State are Kalyssa Zamora and Daniela Trejo-Martinez. Boys and Girls State is a unique program educating youth in the duties, privileges, rights and responsibilities of American citizenship in a “learn by doing” environment.
