Empty Bowl becomes drive-through this year

On Saturday, the Smithville Community Gardens hosted the annual Empty Bowl Project, along with the Smithville Food Pantry, Lost Pines Artisan's Alliance, Smithville Community Clinic and Angels Unaware. The Empty Bowl Project is a national effort to raise money to combat hunger and food insecurity.
